Sechaba means “nation” or “people” in Sesotho and Setswana — and that's exactly what we're about.
Sechaba Travel & Tours is a South African travel company built to make exploring southern Africa easy, authentic and stress-free. Our purpose is simple: to connect people to places — and to each other.
We started Sechaba to fill the gap between the big tour operators and their one-size-fits-all packages. Instead of a seat on a bus, you get a trip designed around you: personalised itineraries, genuinely local experiences, and service that feels like travelling with a friend who knows the country.
Luxury, for us, is not a buzzword — it's a checklist. Your tour is private, never shared with strangers. You travel in a Mercedes or BMW with water, snacks and Wi-Fi on board. You skip the lines at Table Mountain, Robben Island and the wine estates. We're based in Cape Town and serve the city and its surrounds — with multi-day journeys reaching the Garden Route, the Kruger, and across southern Africa.
